Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga works on the balance between opposites, such as the sun (ha) and the moon (tha). Hatha yoga classes at HA&A are taught in a flowing Kripalu style, a gentle meditative style of yoga. Classes will also adhere to the non-violence principles of Ahimsa, and you will be encouraged to respect your body's abilities and limitations. Students will be introduced to several yoga postures at each class. Centuries-old breathing techniques will also be taught, which will help strengthen, stretch, balance, reinvigorate and calm you.

You will find that classes relax you and rekindle your energy. The body-mind-spirit connection developed through yoga will help you flow through the rest of your week. You'll also find that regular practice can help you increase your flexibility and build strength.

Classes are walk-in for $15, or 10 for $100.
